Sometimes you meet people in life that share your creative passion; who are just as bonkers, barmy as you with desire to create something beautifully artistic. As a photographer I find that I’m at my happiest not just when I’m behind my camera, but also at my happiest when I’m in a room with other creative souls talking about art, music, imagery and photography…

I remember standing in Aasens studio with Chloe and Shelley drinking coffee, the sun pouring through the big old Victorian windows {it was a beautiful warm day outside}; surrounded by Aasens creative pieces of work and all his vintage furniture with enough chesterfields to make the queen jealous! {if you don’t believe me check out my short video here}.

The girls and I had been talking about carrying out some collaborative work for some time and Aasens Northamptonshire based art studio seemed like the perfect location for our ‘Vintage Elegance’ inspired photography shoot.

I enjoyed our many planning evenings over coffee {and the odd glass of wine!}; Chloe talking about makeup and Shelley about hair and how we were going to capture the vintage-elegance essence of the photography shoot. We were lucky to have two beautiful models Laura and Chloe herself! Here is part 1 one of the shoot. Watch out for part 2 and part 3!
