UK Wedding Photographer | Quinton House | Mike & HannahSep 18,2017
I have a little soft spot for Quinton House. It wasn’t that long prior I was photographing a styled shoot with a number of amazing suppliers there. I remember thinking then what a lovely, elegant venue it was then. With its long, impressive drive leading to this Grade 1 listed house and its grand hall dating back to the medieval era. During term time Quinton House is an independent school and during the holidays its doors are opened for weddings and events. It’s hard to think that the grand hall is usually a music room and the conservatory a canteen usually full of students eating their lunch!
Today Quinton House had been turned into a magnificent wedding venue. Everything beautifully styled with bunting, fresh flowers, crisp white linen and one amazing ‘cheese’ cake. Mike and Hannah had fallen in love with Quinton House when they went to see it. The grounds gave them beautiful views with large oak trees and the inside space, a touch of history and elegance.
I loved spending time with the bridal party in the morning whilst they were getting ready. Such a beautiful bunch of girls. It was easy to see the bond between them. It felt like a party. There was so much joking and laughing and everyone chatted easily to each other. I loved the gifts Mike had bought for Hannah to open on the morning of their wedding day. I have no idea where he took inspiration for the Sloth plate but needless to say that it had us all in fits of giggles.
I’ll never forget the look of Hannah’s dad face when he walked into the room to see Hannah dressed as a bride. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of moments like this…
So her it is, a small peak into Mike and Hannah’s wedding day story. Enjoy and feel free to leave a comment.
