Creating images is a beautiful art form – a photograph is not just ‘a photograph’; it shows the inner true beauty of the person in the picture
~ Ferri Photography
2013 was all about challenging my photography skills and making time to shoot for myself. With a head bustling full of ideas, I was lucky to find a team of amazing artists who were able to help me bring my ideas and creative vision to life. Working with the talented Chloe and Shelley anything {well, almost anything} seems to be possible!
This shoot was all about ‘Fine Art photography’ – expressing my own vision and feelings through images and creating a piece of art that could be put up on a wall to be viewed. This shoot took months of planning; sourcing flowers, collecting {and drying} bin bags full of leafs {in just the right shades of brown and reds!}, creating a dress made of tulle and ribbon {keeping in mind that I’d never sewn anything before in my life!), sourcing crimps {very retro!} and a heap of other stuff. As I’m sure the team will agree it seemed like a never ending list at times. We were lucky to find our beautiful model Sarah who was perfect for the shot.
A big thank you to everyone involved in helping make this shoot happen {you know who you are ;)}
