Northamptonshire Travel Photographer: Window Light

The photo below was taken in Vietnam – it’s an image of one of the locals sat in a rice paper making hut in Chau Doc. The rice paper is used for fresh spring rolls {the tastiest I’ve had – ever!}

The spring rolls are eaten cold and filled with rice, spring onion, carrots and  an array of fresh local herbs {and sometimes shrimp too}.  You usually dip them in a fragrant peanut or chilli sauce.

I just loved the light coming in through the window on the right of the frame, illuminating the face gently and casting shadows in all the right places. I think it emphasises how powerful a little bit of window light can be…Northasmptonshire Family portrait wedding photographer
