When Josy walked into the old barn on her neighbours farm that she played in as a child, she knew that this was where she wanted to get married. Ok, so at this point it didn’t look much like a wedding venue; and yes so maybe it was full of farming machinery, old rusty tools and a couple of cows, but Josy had bigger plans in mind for this place…
This was a truly rustic wedding and so perfectly put together you could have easily found it whilst flicking through a glossy bridal magazine. Josy’s French routes really shone through this wedding and everything was wonderfully personal about it. An array of random china cups, teapots and plates loaned by mum, gran, aunties and old family friends; jars with delicately placed wild flowers by Miss Victoria, homemade cakes, lemon curd favours, a rocking chair, a piano, a hay cart, meters and meters of bunting made by the bride’s mother, boxes of French rose petals collected in France and brought back by the bride’s sister …
Josy and Marc created such a relaxed, fun atmosphere for their guests that you can see why everyone is beaming with heartfelt love and admiration for this couple.
