I cried, they cried, the guest cried and even the registrar cried! There must have been something in the air today…
Harlestone Village Institute : What is it about some weddings that make you cry? By ‘cry’ I mean good, happy tears of course! Some weddings just seem to have that effect on people and I’ll be the first to admit that I often have a lump or two in my throat at a wedding. I know, I know, I’m just a big softy at heart 😉
Vic and Dan opted for a simple, relaxed wedding. Vics vintage wedding dress had been bought from a local vintage boutique. She fell in love with it the moment she saw it and knew this was the dress she wanted to wear on her wedding day. Simple, delicate and feminine. Paired with vintage inspired gold shoes and a pearl incrusted vintage blue cardigan. It suited Vic down to a tee!
The ceremony took place at the Saracen’s Head in Little Brington. Dan was so proud when he saw Vic at the bottom at the alter walking toward him. They were both crying tears of joy by the time she reached the top. They opted to write their own vowes. Words that were truly special and heartfelt. There wasn’t a dry eye left in the room!
The wedding breakfast was held at Harlestone Village Institute, nestled in the Northampton countryside. Every little detailed made by the couple. Their guests were invited to a vintage afternoon tea party with cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches and homemade cake. There was plenty of fizz to go round too!
