Our Lady of Perpetual Succour: So what can I say about this couple? We laughed together all the way through their engagement shoot and grinned from ear to ear all the way through their wedding! As soon as I meat Shannon and Marcus I knew we were going to have a whole heap of fun together.
Shannon chose to get ready at her parents’ house. The family home that she grew up in. Surrounded by reminders of her childhood; photos, drawings she made as a child and little memorabilia’s. You instantly got the feeling that this was a happy house. If this house was a person you just know it would give you a big, fat hug as you walked in through the door.
Shannon and Marcus got married at the incredibly charming church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Little Billing Village. It reminded me of something out of the Little House on the Prairie. Now I really am showing my age! Such a quaint, little church; full of character and atmosphere. What a perfect place to become husband and wife.
The wedding breakfast was held at Collingtree Park Golf Course in the Greens restaurant. Surrounded by the country side and a river. The trees were already showing signs that autumn is near; their leaves falling off and turning into those beautiful autumnal colors everyone loves. We were blessed with good weather and everyone enjoyed mingled outside making the most of the last of the evening light before the wedding breakfast was served.
At this stage I should probably mention the speeches and the props used for the speeches. Or maybe I should just let you see for yourselves. All I can say is that I’m glad Marcus’s modesty was well covered!
Here’s a sneak peek at Shannon and Marcus’s wedding day story. Isn’t Our Lady of Perpetual Succour just perfect?!…
