The Stanwick Hotel Wedding Photographer – When I think back to Shauna and Nialls wedding I just remember the laughter! From start to finish the smiles were abundant and there was laughing and giggles right from the start. To me this is everything a wedding should be – creating memories and sharing precious moments with the ones you love.

Shauna got ready at her family home with her band of maids and her parents. They relaxed in their gorgeous matching robes, sipped champagne and shared many a hug as they all had their hair and make-up expertly done. The bride wore her hair tousled and loose accompanied by a beautifully simple head band.

Her dress was stunning and elegant, I loved the high neck sheer panel with beautiful beading detail. Shauna enjoyed spending precious moments with her parents as her mum helped her get dressed, an honour every mum surely relishes, before revealing her look to her dad and bridesmaids.

The wedding ceremony and reception took place at The Stanwick Hotel. Shauna and her dad traveled there in style in her Granddads Austin Vintage Soft Top.

I love the beautifully elegant, muted palette that Shauna and Niall had chosen. White roses mixed with various greenery was a key theme running through the day. This sat perfectly as the bridesmaids wore beautiful pale bluey/grey dresses with exquisite beading, whilst the groom and grooms party wore navy suits teamed with grey tartan accessories. I am particularly fond of a groom in a bow tie!

On the day the sun shone so Shauna and Niall were married outside under the hotels arbour. The beautiful setting was the perfect place to say their vows in front of their smiling guests. I loved the nervous, excited looks of love exchanged between them both as they exchanged rings. Before walking back up the aisle to a rapturous round of applause and cheers from their family and friends.

After the couple had greeted their guests and spent some time relaxing we headed off for couple portraits amongst the beautiful grounds of Stanwick Hotel. To me the portrait sessions are all about capturing the natural love and affection the couple has for each other so we took a little wander and enjoyed chatting about the day.

Later the couple headed inside for food and speeches, with Shauna herself getting up to say a few words. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed her funny anecdotes as I was able to capture so many of the guests in the middle of huge belly laughs!

Before everyone headed to the dance floor to dance the night away there was the important matter of cake cutting and bouquet throwing! The main cake was a simple, expertly iced white cake with two little black cats taking centre stage. A surprise gift from the brides mother. Surrounded by a selection of other baked treats, this was a cake table of dreams.

The night ended with the couple and guests dancing the night away under twinkling fairy lights. I was sad to leave them just as the party was really getting started.

Thanks Shauna and Niall for having me capture your day.
